Bronte to Bondi

This morning I joined my sister Sarah for an early morning walk from Bronte to Bondi and back. Although this path has been trodden by hundreds of thousands of people each year, it may disgust you, as it did me, to realise that it’s the first time I’ve actually done it! I’ve been to both beaches on numerous occasions and visited Sculpture by the Sea a few times, I’m not completely unAustralian, but I’ve never just simply done the iconic walk.
You know what? It’s bloody beautiful! That’s all there is to say about it. Go, do it! That stretch of coast line has got to be amongst the most breathtaking in the world and definitely the most spectacular accessible by public transport.
We were lucky to have perfect beach weather and Sarah was clever enough to have worn her cosies, unlike yours truly but to be honest, for a sun-phobe like me, I can’t wait to come back in winter and get all pensive and soak in the moody blues.
Until then, I’ll just have to settle for smiling in the sunshine.
