Toronto, Canada

Dear Blog Followers (or Blogowers if you like),

For those of you who may be worried that I’ve fallen off the face of the earth, I can assure you that I’m safe and sound in Toronto, Canada with my old friend Dawn and new friend Sue. Actually I’m in Waterloo which is near Toronto but no need to complicate things considering I haven’t actually looked at a map yet so couldn’t even point to where I am.

I know I’m ruining the story for those of you who truly believe that I’m still in Sao Paulo so look away now if you don’t want to know what happens next – will I or won’t I make it out of Brazil alive? Yes, I did and I’ve spent a week in New York but as everyone knows, that city doesn’t sleep so there was no chance to write. And now I’m in beautiful Canada with dear friends and I’m not going to give up a minute of that so the adventure story will be on a slight hiatus – I’ll have a couple of days by myself later in the week so will return to regular programming then.
